Royal Vaassen

Founded in 1867 as a tin foundry, since 1924 a leading producer of aluminum flexible packaging material. With the designation Royal, Royal Vaassen focuses on three main markets: food, industry and tobacco. With this we have created a stable basis for further development.

In all the markets we serve, three key aspects are observed

  • Sustainability
    In all our developments sustainability of both the product and the process are key. Aluminum can be recycled infinitely and paper (our second biggest raw material) can also be recycled easily. We process recycled PET. Our energy is based on hydro power and the CO2 footprint of natural gas is set off. Not to mention our measures to reduce waste, emissions etc.
  • Innovation
    Innovation is the essence of our competitiveness in both product and process. To be sustainable innovation is a constant.
  • Service
    The customer is the reason of our existence. Not only in the product solutions we choose, but also in the service we deliver. The service varies from excellent technical service (remote and on site) to assist in new introductions, qualify products and document and guarantee food safety. Added to this our service consists of fast supply chain response and high delivery reliability.
  • People
    Our people are at the heart of all this. They make our company. We concentrate on developing our people and creating a healthy flow within the organization. Continuous appraisals and development (on the job and in training) are the cornerstones of our policy. Being offered a new challenge every three years develops the individual as well the organization.
